Phoenix Night 23rd July 2015

These are a selection of images taken from the 'Phoenix Night' Opening of the exhibition. A massive thank you to everyone that helped us get to this point and especially all the artists for their hard work and commitment to making this a fantastic show. During the opening i'm delighted to say we had 1600 people through the door, which far surpassed our estimates. Thank you to everyone that came, it meant a lot to us all.

Sample Images from the Phoenix Bursary Publication.

Being led by Fine Art Photography Graduate, and Phoenix Bursary recipient, Marcus Peabody, the two images below are a teaser for the publication being produced in time for the exhibition. Pulling together images, text and stories from the beginning of the project to the run up of the exhibition Marcus has aimed to produce something that tries to capture the whole story of the last year. We can't wait to see the finished publication at the Preview Night on the 23rd.

The Phoenix Bursary Office June 2015

We thought we'd take the opportunity to show you our office windows and the things stuck to them. As you can see we have an impressive collection of postcards sent from bursary holders from all over the world - News paper clippings collected over the months - a couple of painting stretchers and of course the take away menus of the local eating establishments..........all the essentials to run a bursary project.

Phoenix Exhibition Poster Selected

It is with great pleasure that we can now share with you the poster design for the Phoenix Bursary Exhibition. After much deliberation the final image selected was 'Solid State' by Fine Art Photography Graduate Sam Hailey-Watts. Be sure to keep you eye out for this, very exciting.
